With a high rye mash bill, this 100-proof Kentucky bourbon incorporates components from both Bardstown Bourbon Company and Green River Distillery with an average age of 7 years. Tried this during a weekend gathering and it quickly became the bottle everyone kept reaching for. Nice balance and a solid finish with a little rye kick that I really liked. Strong enough to stand up in an Old Fashioned but still easy to sip on its own. Feels like a bourbon with real personality.

I've tried a lot of bourbons over the years and this one surprised me. You can tell care went into the blend. Good depth, smooth drinking for 100 proof, and not overly sweet. Bought it because of the Stetson name and Western connection, but I'll be coming back because the bourbon itself delivers.
